Pal Tree in the Storm

I took this shot about a week ago durring the storms that went through California. I didn't like the color version so I am trying something different in B/W. Let me know what you think.

It conveys the feeling of a storm really well, I can feel the wind pushing that tree around. the skies are also very dramatic. I don't know if the silhouette works here but I think it further drives home a very graphic and dramatic kinda shot.

I like it, but my first thought was that it doesn't really stand alone. This might be one of three on a wall, each giving us a different shape as the storm blew the palm fronds into different directions.
