    Lake Chapala

    "Lake Chapala (Spanish: Lago de Chapala) is Mexico's largest freshwater lake. It is located at 20°20′N 103°00′W / 20.333°N 103°W / 20.333; -103, 45 km southeast of Guadalajara, Jalisco, and is situated on the border between the states of Jalisco and Michoacán, at 1,524 metres above sea level. Its approximate dimensions are 80 km from east to west and 18 km from north to south, and it covers a total of some 1,100 km². It is a shallow lake, with a mean depth of 4.5 metres and a maximum of 10.5"

    Lava, thanks for the comment

    It took me a while to do the post processing...

    The water in the original look brown, I reduced the temp in the white balance to make it blue, and have to undo that on the ropes and posts

    Then increased the contrast of the clouds, problem was the top of the mountains as these were turning black all the way down to the water level, I left a large halo, but hopefully looks somewhat natural

    I like the capture. Lots of different interesting textures: brick walk, water, ropes and posts. Nice sky. I might have cropped down the top dark portion of the sky, maybe just above the mountain top. I think that would keep the eye focused on the fore ground and it's interest. Good work...

    Yep, the color and texture in this are deliquescent. At least I think that is a word.
