Very crisp and beautiful shot. Maybe a little too close to the ear on the right??? - TF

This is fine , Nate. I agree it could use a bit more space to the right, but not a deal breaker at all. great softness and crsip clarity where needed. Brings a smile to my face and reminds me of my youngest, Iki looked just like that when he was about 4-6 months.
Very nice work.

Second, not sure if more contrast or at least separation from the background is needed or not.... I love it as is.... it took me a good couple of minutes before i could stop looking at the photo long enough to scroll down and comment.
what I find priceless is the expression. colors and contrast and what not all can be fixed any time... but that look... just priceless.
Very nice work!

Kindly do NOT edit my photos - I would rather try and apply your advice and learn...
Thanks for all the kind words everybody! It's my first sticky! I have been looking at the image and I think her right eye is a bit dark in the corners but it looks good to me without dodging and burning the image lol.
A shot that makes me smile. That's what it did for me. I do a lot of K9/Horse portraits so I can really appreciate this. They are much easier to pose than a kitten. I can only imagine what you went through to get this shot. What ever it was, it payed off. Great shot!!

But this one is so well done, I like it. It's technically perfect without being stale in a Stepford Wives sort of way - perhaps because the youth and virbrance of the kitten comes through so well. Congrats on the featured photo.
