    blurry pictures..help

    Hello everbody.
I have a Casio EX-Z1080 10.1 MP . I take MANY pictures of my horses, I especially like to take pics of them running but 2 out of 10 pics are clear. I use the sports setting, auto focus, auto ISO ( not even really sure what ISO is ) and I'm never sure which size to set it to eg. 10m, 16:9 5m ect... can anyone give me a better idea what I should set it to capture running horses..

    thank you for your time.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'what size to set it to'. Are you talking about the zoom?
It seems you are still talking about the iso but those numbers have nothing to do with iso.
All you really need to know is to use the lowest iso possible to get a fast enough shutter to freeze the action.
Can you post an example, preferably from your computer so we can read the exif data?

First the shutter speed must be at a minim of 1/300 of a second or faster to stop the movement of the horses feet (at a trot)! Also in an arena you need high ISO settings with a fast lens of at least F2.8, otherwise the shutter speed will be to slow.

To get good horse photos (running, etc - action shoots) you need to be able to have shutter priority and even then you will need sunny days to get good photos with your camera. I did not purchase the F2.8 80-200mm (I purchased a different lens) and I have not been able to get good arena photos (inside) of my daughter riding.

PS setting the size: Just set the size to the largest mega pixel, then you post process to the size you wish to print.
