    Tree Maze

This was one of the many mazes of trees I encountered the last few days while trying to keep an accurate heading of due North while tromping through the forest. I had to shoot this before I stomped through the fresh powder (or my crazy dog). So what do you think? I'm really curious to hear you critiques on this one....Thanks again as always..

I like it. The black thing at the bottom is kinda out of place though. Nice nature shot with an unnatural object. Other than that, I think that the trees might have been a little too less packed on the right side of the frame and hence seeing the background trees in the distance. I think this kind of tree trunk shots works best if it's more like the left side of the frame here, where you only see tree trunks all the way through the frame.

very nice try though and nice perspective created by the shadows.

Thanks for the info Liban. I wasn't sure on this one, and never tried a shot like this. I liked the shadows when I shot it and wondered how it would look in B&W. That didn't really work either.

    Thanks again

I have tried many shots like this without success, I guess the missing ingredient was snow.

I like it but as Liban pointed out you need to loose the post, spoils it a bit.
