    Snow Colored Moments

First off HAPPY NEW YEAR!!..I hope all your pictures continue through the New Year and you never put that camera down!! The more you shoot, the more we all learn.

I was backing up files and ran across these mixed in with the bad and the ugly. In just a minute or two in between shots the scene completely changed with the help of the sun briefly breaking through the fog and clouds. I did work these.Slight saturation to the sky (8%) with noise removal. Also dodging the underexposed snow and clarifying it 11.5%.
I would appreciate your critiques. I always wonder on shots like these if I should have just left them on the back burner.

    Thanks again everyone

Love the color in these. I do think the first two stand out above the third and although the composition may not be optimal, all are very pleasing to look at.

    Re: Snow Colored Moments

I like the second one best but the color with the snow is nice in all of them.
    Sunrise?

    Re: Snow Colored Moments

All are well done with excellent lighting and mood. They are sharp too, and well exposed. Looking closely at the pix, I think the top one is the best compositionally. It seems better balanced than the others for whatever reason. I like the snow in the foreground in # 3 but not the way the small trees block the approach to the house, however. It would invite the viewer in so much better if they weren't there (maybe you should have ax'd em first? ). # 2 is nice also.

The first two are tonally perfect.
