A bit grainy but looks vintage. It could use a little bit off the bottom i think . I know the whole point is that he's sleeping, but i wish we could see the eyes, or maybe a different angle to include the coach he's sleeping on and more of his body. he blends in too much with the coach.

Yeah you are right. The lighting in my house is horrible. This was the angle where I could catch highlights on his face to pop a bit. And the grain was intentional.

    Thanks again for the input.

My well known pet peeve.......his whiskers are running off frame.
I think you may have been able to catch those highlights by getting lower. Wasn't there so can't tell for sure...just appears that way from pic.

I could have gotten a little lower on this shot, but my daughter was to the right of him sleeping. Didn't want to wake her up. But lesson learned.

    Thanks again.

This would make a good "oops I forgot" greeting card. Even though I like it as it is, with the suggested pointers it would have been really good.

And since both of them were asleep, the two of them together might have made a good photo too.

    Re: Sleeping Ash

I like the grainy vintage look of the image. i agree with others comments about getting down lower a bit. i think this would have worked best in a horizontal frame also. then the whiskers could be in frame too
Still, a nice mood about it.
