    Space Shuttle Landing Friday Morning......

    Drove out to The Space Center this morning. went and checked on my guys on one of the jobs we are doing and then drove down the road for the landing.
    Taken from inside Nasa Gates 1 mile from the Runway.

    This plane as about 5 seconds behind the shuttle as it landed.....

    With a glide rate of 12 to 1 (dropping 12 feet for every 1 foot forward), it certainly has to drop quickly!

    Great series, Eric! Reminds me of when I was at Edwards for the first shuttle landing (Columbia). It banked right over us and I burned off some great shots.
