problems with 2 flashes + wireless triggers + D40x

Hi There,

I am desperate to solve something, and I wondered if anybody has any suggestion what I should do.

I have two flashes. None of them are top flashes, but they supposed to do the job.
They are 1. Topca 330 CTX and the 2. is a Nikon speedlight SB-15. Both working fine with my D40X.
What I really want to do is to use both in the same time. I was advised to try these PT04 wireless triggers but they stopped working after 30 minutes. I tried an other brand, but still no joy at all.

I would be very much grateful if somebody could advise me, what to do or what do I need to buy/try to use a more reliable cable driven solution.

I have a cable for the Nikon speedlight, but unfortunately it flashes when I half pressed the trigger of my camera.

Did you try replacing the batteries? In particular, the battery in the transmitter that mounts on the camera hot shoe.
