    Leopard and Cheetah

The light was virtually gone when the Leopard was spotted pretty far away - so lucky to get anything at all really.

I love the evening light on the Leopard, but was it shot with auto white balance?
Did it look even more coloured in real life?

Wow - that 2nd one is awesome. Love the composition and the knarly tree. I think there is even more potential here that some more post processing could bring out.

    Thanks for sharing.

As Paul Wrote its a Secretary Bird - a raptor - local resident that seldom flies. It hunts prey on the ground whilst walking - stomps on and kills snakes and small prey with long and powerful legs and feet.

White balance was set to Auto and the dry foliage and mopani bush blended with the late evening light to produce the "sepia" effect so the colours are pretty much the way things were that evening.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
