ISO5000 of a singer

well I tried some High ISO shooting with my D700 and the 85mm 1.8 lens and wanted to see how you like it. No noise reducing software just some tweaks of the blues in lightroom2

I'm very impressed with that d700, both this image and the other one you posted in sports. Great shot.

Re: ISO5000 of a singer

Dustin, this is excellent. I'm impressed with the quality of the images we're getting with todays top DSLR. My Canon 5D Mark ll allows me to shoot at 6400 iso without a second thought which is real handy in these situations. I think though that from tests i have seen that your D700 is a bit better all around in IQ
I love the framing here and the exposure. The highlight edges around the subjects body from the backlighting is fantastic and really makes the image stand out well.
great blue background to contrast the silhouette.
Well done!
