    Hibiscus

Flowers are a pretty risky as subjects for photography. But, I like this and wanted to share.
    Hope you like it, too.

I do. Nice exposure, focus, dof, color, composition.
A small nit is the shadow running off frame in the center.
    Keep Shooting!

One of the few flowers that seems to benefit from being photographed in hard light, and you've done a really nice job, DoF is perfect on this one.

    Frog/jetrim:

Thanks very much. I hesitate to post flowers as that subject is shot to death. Flowers and cars, they have been shot so many times that unless you have something truly unique it is risky to post. Thanks again.

"Flowers and cars..." I'll never get enough of either.

Also, remember that there are many of us new shooters on the forum that have not seen all the flower and car shots and can still learn from the techniques.

    All photography is a risk.
I like this one. But it shows the risk of bright sun.
The reds are a bit oversaturated.
This flower is extra difficult to get in close because it blows around in the slightest of breezes.
    Good job.....
    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.

    Snoid,

And I actually toned it down. I used a tripod. That helps a little.

    Thanks for the comment.
