    Talking High Contrast in Venice

    Hi guys,

it was one of those crispy clear day and the sky was an amazing blue. Caught this corner
of the city and it looked really striking to me. Does the picture give out this impression? Does it say something? Thanks for your critiques.

    Ciao

    Re: High Contrast in Venice

I've always liked bold color and simple composition like this. I will say that I think a square crop would serve the scene better, and make a stronger image. Although I like the blue of the sky very much, it does not need to take up 50% of the scene to get the point across. Limiting the blue to the top 25 - 30% of the image, would be plenty, in my opinion.
