    More golf course wildlife.

First it was Black Bellied Whistling Ducks, then it was jackrabbits and now it's Great Egrets. I'd seen one or two Egrets at this particular pond before, but this morning there were 6 or 8 of them. So after dropping my daughter off at school, I went back to my house and picked up my D200 and 70 - 200mm f/2.8 lens and ended up taking a couple of hundred shots. It was still early and it was very cloudy so I had to use a high ISO and shoot wide open to get a fast enough shutter speed for these birds in flight shots, but other than more graininess and softer focus than I like to see, I'm happy with the results.

A couple of very nice series of shots. I like them all but really think the second one of the first group is very unusual and a great capture, Jeff

Very nice images. You are lucky to get these on your golf courses, the best we can do up here in the Great White North are Canada Geese in the spring, summer and early fall. They are nice to look at, but boy are they messy, if you know what I mean.
