    lighting hell

Do you think this needs customised adjustment for each of the lights?

    - mercury floodlights, the main hall lighting
    - LP sodium, the hall's secondary lighting
    - daylight, the hall's skylights highlight on the car

If so then I need to do a lot of editing, it'll be over in the Software/Processing forum

Why not just do a custom white balance, then do a little color tweak in post-processing.

I did, for the mercury lights. That's why they're white.

It is a lighting hell, but I think you could either leave it as is or convert to black and white and then replace some of the color in the car and carpet, sign etc. Just slightly. that would look pretty good and save the trouble of trying to correct and balance all the various color temps here. . .just not necessary. I like the shot as is really.

Don't forget the halogens on the signage
Actually everything looks pretty good except for the back wall having a fairly warm cast. I might be temped to clone or paint out the skylight reflection on the cowl though, being so close to the numbering it's a bit of a distraction.

Actually Paul, I tried some editing with this and got good results by just reducing the Vibrancy in CS4 (saturation/vibrancy) and then using the desaturation brush remove most color from the garage door in the bg and some of the yellow and weird color on the top of the car. The car is practically without color anyway so it does not hurt it .

Personally, I like the shot. I'm not sure the varying lighting makes a great deal of difference.
