A little still life

Hi all ...

A little still life I did up yesterday. I know it is a little on the 'garish' side - I was aiming at a more painterly feel. It is a layered image.

I like the fact that you kept the colors bold and vibrant rather than muting them as one so often sees in still life work.

I personally love this shot as well. Wonderful vibrant colours. Just a thought, maybe the wine would've looked best if it was redder?

Really no complaints at all on this image. Great textured background, composition... great work. :thumbsup:

Thanks guys .. I agree about the wine needing to be a tad more red. Problem is that bordeaux tends to be a deep purple colour. So I did a reshoot, diluting it down quite a bit, and trying a slightly warmer colour feel. The wine shows more red in full res than here.
