    More Egypt Portraits

    Hi all

Three more portraits from Egypt .. two "posed" and one candid. The first and third were at Karnak Temple. The middle one was in the market at Luxor.

As always, any comments are much appreciated.

    Cheers
    Mike

    Three more good ones.
Love the third. Could have been a thousand years ago except for the cell phone and ciggys.

I dig the 3rd photo, its ironic with the ancient structures and cell phone... great shot!

The second shot is my favourite. I'm sure that manhole is opened when the most serious butchering takes place. The meat looks a little unnaturally red though.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Also like the thirrd best, followed by the second. The first isn't really working for me. Subjct seems too centered and I think it would have produced a more interesting result to have his pose reversed so the arm resting on the wall pointed into the frame towards the ancient life size pinball bumper column bases.

I love the 3rd one, timeless indeed and you caught the moment well.

No it doesn't, it's just where it is, you can call it bad planning. When some more serious butchering takes place which usually doesn't happen on the street, they like to let the blood flow!
