    pink flamingo

    I'm posting this in critique rather than N&W to see what others think about the exposure, and whether it works with such high contrast.

    I don't mind the high contrast that much, I think it's too saturated for my tastes though.I like the pose But i find it hard to see what the bird is doing with it's leg. Maybe bring up the lightness of the background some.

    Flamingos are naturally too saturated :lol: I didn't bump the saturation as much as the in-camera high saturation mode, and this is fairly representative of what you'd see standing in front of him. Here's a wider shot showing what he's doing with his leg and the less than fantastic background:

    I honestly like high contrast... and I believe it works well with this picture. Beautiful.
