    street noise

I haven't been shooting much the last few weeks due to a very heavy workload but I did snap this one the other evening in downtown Miami. The noise was added in post to enhance the "grungy" feeling. Wondering if it works or not:

I like this kind of shot.
    It feels lonely.
Why didn't you just kick up the ISO to get the grain in camera?
    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.
Nothing goes right in its time.

Great, and I like the noise / grain. Also the slight darkness, adds to the overall "feel".

Composition looks good, particularly with the lights framed near the edge---instead of dead-center. I honestly can't think of anything else to improve the photo, and I agree with snoid. Nice work!

    Re: street noise

Well, glad to hear it gave the impression it was supposed to
This particular section of street was JAMMIN' about an hour and a half earlier when I entered the building down the street, and I was really surprised at the desolation when I came back out ( I was also amused by the diversity of the shops). Regarding "kicking up the ISO" I was pretty sure when I snapped the shot it was grungy enough, but it came out oddly smooth and crisp. When you're chimpin' with a 1.5" LCD preview screen it's hard to tell
