I decided that my first one should be a self portrait as a small introduction, i took it last april, had a new haircut, at some point you'll notice i am obsessed with self portraits!

Hello and welcome, Nomad from Egypt.
It appears your light source is on the left. I would suggest some light from the right or maybe a reflector to give some fill light on the left side of your face.
Maybe try to get your right elbow into the frame but that's a nit.
I've tried doing self portraits holding a camera in front of a mirror. It is not easy to get it aimed right if you don't have a live view lcd.

Thank you for your comments and feed back, my problem with that shot, that the mirror wasn't clean (spots and dust particles) that affected it. But I kinda liked the processing afterwards, the background wit the frame and dried flower, my main focus was the hair cut though, the light source was sun light from the window on my right.

Here's a collection I really like (I am allowed to do that right?)
The first 2 are digital, the 3rd was a fed 3 Tmax 100 50 mm lens combo + tripod. The 4th was in a bar, the subject is the "I've been there"kinda photo, you'll find me in the mirror. Also a range finder Ricoh 500 GX.
