    Reversed lens macros redux

The longer lens got rid of the vignetting!

Unfortunately it did nothing for my ability to find my focus, and in the rare occasion I could do that, hold focus for more than a split second. Finally got my tripod out for some of them, which came out a bit better.

    2. Yarrow, with tripod
    3. Yarrow buds, with tripod
    4. Just for comparision, Yarrow with my 55-250mm "macro" at the minimum 3'6 focusing distance (macro my behind)

I didn't realize you were trying to do those others without a tripod.
Explains a lot about your focus problems.

I like what you accomplished here with the tripod.
    Keep Shooting!

Yeah, I couldn't hold it still enough to find and keep the sweet spot.

Here's another. Green raspberry... I'll need to try this again when one is ripe

Yeah, you will get more keepers with tripod as far as shooting macro is concerned, especially if you want more DOF.

    Thanks for sharing !
