    Backyard pond

Took this, in color, while housesitting for family last week. When I got home I realized all the rocks in the back were blown out. Was able to fix it a bit thanks to RAW but not sure what I could have done different to not have that problem. Used the channel mixer to convert to B&W, a couple unsharp mask passes, and cloned out a drip sprinkler. Oh and cropped a bit as well.

Any comments? I think I need to tweak something in PS to make the rabit statue pop more but I'm not sure what to tweak, i.e. RGB channels vs. contrast/brightness vs. ?? Maybe I should re-shoot it?

I'm at work so I'm weary to judge much on this monitor... but the thing I most notice is the blown out rocks. They become the focal point and the rabbit gets lost.

It looks a little crooked to me, but I can't tell if it is the fence throwing me off. I'd zoom in more on the rabbit and try to shoot it straight on if you want him to stand out. Neat idea for a picture though, it is a very pretty garden.
