    Nice series. Waxwings have such a beautiful, smooth texture. I've never seen the topnotch lay as flat as on the first one. - TF

    Are you sure he missed? Maybe he just realized the berry wasn't ripe yet

    Lovely series. I really like the first one, but I think the third may be the best.

    Another awesome series Loupey...you always seem to be in the right place at the right time!!! #1 is my fave with the berry just going in the beak!!! Great capture!!!

    The shot I'm after is #1 but from the viewpoint of #2. Will keep trying

    It is also quite funny when two or three waxwings perch in a line on a branch and they pass the berries down the line. But trying to portray that in one shot is difficult.

    Thanks, Ken. It isn't without trying tho. Sometimes being in the right place at the right time requires several preliminary expeditionary hikes and then several hours of waiting :thumbsup:
