Everyone has probably seen quite enough spring shots for one year, but beginners like me just cannot afford to pass up the opportunities for practice shots. Here are a few for your (I hope) enjoyment. Any comments are, of course, welcome. – TF

Thank you all very much looking and for the comments. It's mainly because of this forum that I have gotten this far.
Alex - The daffodil flower actually hangs down and the stem may look a little strange because it is positioned leaning way back in order to get the flower facing forward.

Very nice, I've been doing the same thing this spring.
Just a personal preference ... the lilac looks a little strange to me on a dark background. It looks like nighttime, and lilacs are never open at night. Could you do another one and swing around so that the flowers are against the sky? I'd love to see the colors that result from such a shot.
Drink Coffee. Do stupid things faster with more energy.

Thanks. I should practice much more.
That shot is 12 days old and they just don't look like that any longer. The reason for the black background is that I used a low power flash (actually two) for the shot. That way I could kick the shutter speed faster and get them to hold still better in the breeze. Here is basically the same shot without flash.
