What do you think your looking at, buddy??

Another 'small and furry'. I'm thinking the dof might be a bit too shallow.

I agree about it feeling a bit too shallow. And I think it would be nice if there was more space on the right side than the left side.

The DOF works for me,just crop the left side about 1/3rd.I like the tack sharp detail of the wiskers.

The dof works. I really think you need to find a better background though.

DoF works, except for the in-focus detail of the cloth on the left.
If you'd got that shot without the distracting focussed foreground it would be better.

My cat gave this one a paws-up, she tried to pat the screen.

LOL, Paul, as I tell my own cats, please remind your kitty that my wodents are not lunch :P

He's just in the nest area of his cage here, no special background. Doing any sort of varying background with these guys is hard, since they freak out pretty easily and then don't stop moving. I've managed to get good out of cage shots with older ones on occasion. This guy's new and not tamed yet (which is my nice way of saying he's a mental little spaz), so it'd be hard to work with him until he realizes that I'm not a mean giant coming to eat him.
