    Door To A View

I was out exploring with my husband in our new town the other day and this reflection caught my eye. Here's 2 variations on the theme, what works?

The top one (which I think you can crop even tighter).
    No, I DON'T need that.

Cool find. I like the bottom one, even more so if the upper third set of window pane was cropped out. I like how the right side makes the door look open some....just wish a little more.
Anywho... looks like a nice place to have morning cup of joe...

    Re: Door To A View

Here's a few crops to both - the dark portions at the top were bothering me too.

    Thanks for the input all.
Jordan, could you please be more specific about what about the reflection I should fix other than a crop? Thanks!

DLB it is the nicest place I have yet discovered for coffee, lunch or anything else.

I like both of these. The first I like with the new crop and the second, as originally posted.

I don't like the tight crop, prefer the texture of the full door framing the scene.

    Re: Door To A View

Thanks for the feedback Jetrim & Don ~ I really like the original 2nd shot as there is more detail in the full size. The outer handle on the door caught my attention and I wanted to include it. My initial reaction with most shots is to get in close and show the details, but lately I've been trying to show a broader scene. I guess I'm just trying to re-act counter-intuitively so I don't get bored and frustrated. These were done with my P/S on the fly, SOC except for sizing, pretty WYSIWYG.
