    Artistic moon

I think I got some camera shake in this but it gave me the shot I wanted (almost) I actually wanted the moon and the tree both in focus - I guess the 93 million mile difference may have confused the focusing huh

Not your typical moon shot which is why I like it.
The moon not being in focus does not bother me and the foreground branches make this a nice photo. The clouds add a great element.
Foreground is what is missing from so many moon shots.

Not a pro, but I like the shot also.

Note: the sun is 93 million miles

    Re: Artistic moon

I just don't seem to like this shot. (not to be rude)

I think its rather hard to tell whats it is and whats going on. Unless described.

    Not rude at all.

I agree it is hard to tell what is going on - could well be a lamp behind the tree. I kept this one and threw about 60 away, sometimes we keep them for the memory rather than the quality.

Thanks for the correction gotrocks, I did of course mean 384,403 KM

I also like your shots here... It's different and somewhat dreamy. Looks like Halloween, sort of. I personally don't need an explanation but I guess that it isn't the normal moon shot either. nice work

    Re: Artistic moon

I can though defiantly tell its either the sun or the moon, the brightness around the area makes it look like the sun, but it is very unique. I like the clouds though.
