    very nice shot, but there's something "odd" about the eye, it seems unusually cloudy. Was this something done in PP to tone down a blow out?

    I like it as well, It looks a bit "warm" for my taste. I think a crop would help some too.

    Exactly what I was going to say. I really like it, but something about that eye seems really off.

    I think that's the way the eye is supposed to look. Look at other photo's of peacocks and you'll see that the eye just looks that way.

    Looking good is not a good picture, even just slightly crisp.
    To the eye, it is the "nittante (nictitating membrane), a special transparent eyelid that is designed to keep the eye moistened allowing the same vision, which is common in almost all birds. The shooting was done while the lid was closed.
    Other shots were available to me without the eye membrane.
