Same Pics, New Gear

Hey Fam,
These are some pictures that I took with my new Nikon D60. My first DSLR WOOOO WHOOOO!!!!! I am taking pictures of some stuff that I shot before but it looks so much cooler on a new camera. It's almost like getting new sneakers when you were a kid, you just feel like you run faster. Peace

Looks good, keeping the main subject in line with the rule of thirds

With the 2nd picture I like the reflection on the water but I think the background treeline should have been lower in the frame like how you did with the first shot. Also I think that the beach on the bottom left takes focus away from the subject. Over all pretty good shots. oh and congrats on the new camera!

I like the first one. beautiful blue skies, nicely exposed windmill. I agree with cameraspeak on the second one also. congrats on the new cam!!
