    At my other job

These were taken at my full-time job location. A guard station located out from a huge warehouse in between two large drainage lakes. It's almost like being on an island. Every other week I am stationed out there rather than in the warehouse. We have lots of geese and families of ducks. It was windy and a challenge.

    Re: At my other job

Eric, I like the last two also. I know they are very common, but I still love to get great shots of them. I love their faces.

I do TOO MUCH...LOL My full time job is "Loss Prevention and Safety Specialist" at a large distribution center. My part time job on Sundays (where most of my photographs are taken) is as a security guard at a barge terminal. My part time volunteer job is as a certified Search and Rescue Technician for my county. That's where "SARtech" came from if you were wondering.
I don't know what my 3rd job will be, but I think I'm going to have to fit one in somewhere.

Great shots Kristine, I love that last one. I complain about not having time to do all I'd like to and you manage to post regularly with two jobs and a volunteer job as well. Amazing!

    Re: At my other job

This time of year there are literally hundreds of Canada Geese heading back north for the warm summer months in thier staggered "V" formations. We get lots of them in our area settling in the cornfields to rest overnite, before they resume thier journey north the next morning. They are also one of a few species that mate for life, and that is probably a happy 'couple' depicted in your last photo.
Very nice shots, of a truly magnificent creature Kristine !

    Thanks folks!
...I sqeeze in sleep by sleep walking during the day (kidding)
...Volunteer training is only once a month on a Saturday and then the small amount of callouts to mostly look for missing folks doesn't add up to much.
...I'm lucky to have access to computers all the time.
... I DO have 3 whole days off a month!! I have long forgotten what it's like to have a whole weekend and Holidays off.

Mate for life? What's that anymore.
