    Landscape decision

Where would you have taken the shot?
You can see myzoom-with-the-feet decision for the scene ...

Take my wide shot and draw on it your choice.

    Re: Landscape decision

Not knowing what is above or whether you can fit the top of the mountain in, I would suggest something like this.

    Ah, try this then ...

    Click for larger image.

Or the portrait format I shot "just in case" ... I've learned that lesson - shoot in multiple orientations, at many zooms

    Re: Landscape decision

I would've, hmm, maybe shot snow + 1 brush + blue skies. maybe something like this:

Then again, that might have been boring or impossible to get rid of the mountains n the back. I don't really know but it looks like an interesting place. is the snow still around? I didn't think it snowed much in the UK.

    Not the UK, Arizona.
    Or maybe Utah.
    Or perhaps Nevada.

Maybe I should get one of those GPS image tagging thingies ...

    Paul,

Crop at least half the snow off the landscape and it would be lovely.

For the portrait, crop to the bottom bush.

I really like that pano. That's the final answer for me. But version number 2 also works.

I like this one, the only thing I'd have done is probably taken a shot lying on my belly to lose some of the snow in the foreground with that little bush to my left 1/3rd. S
    Shootme...
