    Strange Lens

This shot is straight from camera. No PP.
Just converted to jpg and resized.
It was shot with an old 135mm 2.8 Sears 3 step macro, set on it's closest focus.
The effect isn't always this strong but it seems promising if I could get better control of it.

The lens is sharp in it's normal mode

    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.

The first shot isn't much but I love that second one. The buds in the back are a bit distracting but the open flower is just beautiful.
Is that lens on a Nikon?

No Frog it's on my K200.
Just wanted to show the difference in it's focus.
I'm guessing that some element in the lens goes off when you pull it out for macro.
