I really like how you completely filled the frame with the feathers and it works for me having everything radiate out from the center of the frame.

Awesome shot tashidondrup. Looks like he's exploding. I don't know if there was anything below where it ends and if you needed to crop it, but great shot. I might up the contrast just a tad to get more separation between him and his feathers, but otherwise perfecto.

thanks guys i guess hard work is from mother nature lol
cropping was needed to center the peacock with the feathers.
grass was too confusing to the photo so i cut it.
i know i broke the third rules, i tried to keep the eyes in the diagonals though.
you can see the grass through the feathers.

    actually if im not wrong
birds cant see inbinocular vision so most probably was looking something else
if you recall when birds look at you they move their head laterally
funny i was thinking the same when i shoot the photo
is the bird looking at me?

Super shot and great composition. I agree with the suggestion to try turning up the contrast a bit to give it a bit more "pop".

What a lovely photo and the rule is only a guideline

I agree about a touch of contrast needed.

    Re: Nice Peacock

I think I agree with the others about the contrast, but I'm not sure. I would try maybe tweaking the levels (or perhaps even Selective Color - Black) just a little to give it a bit more punch and see what happens.

    Great work, regardless.
