    NH in the Fall

I'm looking to improve my photography and thought this would be a good place to start.

    Thanks for your comments.

    Re: NH in the Fall

Nice composition but too pastel for my preference. When I think of autumn in New Hampshire, I think of brilliant, vivid color. This shot reminds me of the smoggy atmosphere I see here (too much) in California. Pump up the color in this one and, I think it will be more well received.

I to like the composition well enough but the colors are a bit murky.

I'd also like to see this shot from a lower perspective to get more of the water and reflections in the foreground.

Still it is a worthy fall image.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I don't like the dead tree being placed in the dead centre of the picture (no pun intended!) and agree that the colours could use more pop. But a great subject and lighting.

I too like this very much and agree it seems a bit washed out, maybe over sharp too? Anyway welcome and yes you will definitely improve your shots here as I have, though I'd say you already have the eye for composition and a nice scene. Could make for a great HD scene. Cheers S
