    P+S flower

I shot this with my wifes Nikon cool pix.
I credit it being the shot that got me back into photograpy.
Now I have LBA and GAS!
    Is there no cure?

    Give it a few tries.

I like everything about this photo .
It would make a lovely greeting card front.
What kind of flower is it?
Gardenia ? Camellia ? the leaves don't look like Magnolia.
Plant a tree, help it grow. Children need something to climb.

I think you could lighten up the photo a bit more (especially the shadows on the right side), some contrast and colour tweaking might help as well.

Composition looks good... though a little bee would have added a greater "spark" of interest. Nice job, overall.

    Re: P+S flower

Had to consult the expert...........(my wife).
    It's a gardenia.
It was shot in VERY low light.....at least for a P+S, and if I push the white tones they wash out, so I opted for a more subdued look.
