    Standpipe

Bit of a study in color and geometry, also from this morning's walk. Thoughts?

You got the color and geometry alright.
Only thing slightly negative for me is I wish you'd gone left a bit to get some line separation of the white background pipe from the standing pipe head.

    Re: Standpipe

This is a very easy reshoot, just a few blocks from here. Any suggestions on how to get more left without slamming the red pipe all the way to the right border, and without rotating the camera angle and changing the orientation of the horizontal lines of the green box? I'm open to any suggestions you might have

I see what you mean that it might move the standing pipe too far right but to be sure you are seeing what I mean, here is your photo showing where I wish there was a bit of a gap.
Its a nit pik though as I do like the color and geometry

    Yep, I got it
Like I said, it's close so I'll give it a try just to see if I can make it work...

To me the color looks over saturated. Are these colors correct?
Too bad all the people who know how to run this country are busy running taxicabs or cutting hair.

I like the geometry, but find the yellow overpowers the red. Just not sure about the perspective - mebbe some more foreground?

    Just thinking out loud...
