Very nice shot of a beautiful bird. What is it sitting on? Polished wood? Water? - TF

Re: Red throated Flycather ( Weekend shoot )
Very nice.
Since it is apparently in a birdbath, I would have liked to see a few little ripples radiating out from the bird.
Gorgeous bird!

Re: Red throated Flycather ( Weekend shoot )
Like the second shot Rakesh, but both are very good. One small thing, you have called it a red throated flycatcher but your first picture is titled red breasted flycatcher. I only point this out for your info not to criticise.

Re: Red throated Flycather ( Weekend shoot )
Thanx Guys.
Martin: Keen observation, I must say. Actually it is called the Red throated Flycatcher . it used to be called Red breasted before , and I got confused while PP the image . Refered to the book for the others and then corrected it. Thanx again.

Re: Red throated Flycather ( Weekend shoot )
Wow - great photo! I really like the soft water reflections. I like photos that feel intimate and this one certainly does. It's like the bird knew you were taking the picture and allowed you a peek into its private bath time. Very nice. Glad you shared it with us!
