Another Pikes trip. Shot in color edited to b and w, cropped and turned these out. Please critique.

For me they are flat and need more contrast. I personally would try processing these as HDR images to get more out of the dynamic range just a thought.

I like the idea and agree a touch more contrast would help. On the first one I think shooting a wider shot and letting the sidewalk lead into the shot would have gave it more interest. Someone walking down the sidewalk would have helped too. I do like the concept.
