    Tilt Shifted Racecar

Well sort of. Here is an image I took of Patrick Carpentier's car leaving the pits at the August NASCAR race in Brooklyn, Michigan. The tilt shift effect has been added in Photoshop. It definitely isn't a true tilt shift but I wanted some opinions on the effect. The end result is supposed to make the subject look like they have been dropped into a miniature scene or a shot of a miniature scene shot as is.

Opinions on the effect/treatment are what I am looking for here. C&C as always is encouraged and expected.

    Re: Tilt Shifted Racecar

I think the effect works for the image it is very subtle but it really brings the car out. The one thing I do have to add to your photo that I think would help it more than the effect is to crop out the bottom up to the yellow line or even a tad higher.

I think the effect works. It does bring out the car more. Did you add a gaussian blur layer?
