    The Ibis brothers

    Although I'm not thrilled with this one, it's just good enough to inspire me to go back and try again. Found an opening adjacent to some really thick mangroves where these guys hang out when people wander too close, while at the park yesterday.

    Nice one, though it sure could use some lightening up. Also, I find that large diagonal out-of-focus branch on the left a bit distracting.

    Love the eye catchlight in the main ibis! :thumbsup:

    I do think that going back there and trying out different positions, angles and bird poses would have plenty of potential.

    Sometimes we just have to shoot them where they are. You did quite well considering, but I agree a little brighter would strengthen the image.

    Beautiful shot, love the catch light in the eye. The blur in the lower left does detract from it but I like the lighting with them hidden in the bush.
