Snow day, skiing in the neighborhood

We've been covered in snow here for about a week now with temperatures below freezing the whole time, which doesn't happen often here for this long of a stretch. Finally it snowed more during the week and schools closed for the year, starting the break early. I decided to go and see what was going on at the elementary school, as there is usually a lot of activity there on such days, since it has a good hill. On the road, some kids had a jump built and were being towed in, down a hill, by an ATV to get more speed. Here are a few shots of one of the kids who I know. You can critique if you want. Also, I only had my camera with me and not the rest of my gear. If I had known I would be seeing anything good, I would have brought my flashes, etc. Anyway, enjoy!

How fun! I like the first one, especially the way the people watching look. Looks COLD too!

There were a bunch of people, but I made my angles right to avoid most or all of them being in the shot. It was pretty cold, too, in the 20's.

Cool shots, Dwaugh. We didn't get much snow until yesterday and I don't know if I'm hoping for that storm Sunday or not. Not if its as bad as they think it might.
    Keep Shooting!
