    Knife n Green

    Making the string bean casserole from scratch. The first part of the Thanksgiving Feast series I will be posting. Simple pics of good ole holiday cooking, my way. I hope you enjoy.

    White balance is way off giving a yellow cast. Did you shoot raw where it would be easy to fix.
    Now excuse me while I go get some beans for a casserole which I'm suddenly hungry for.

    Yes I shot in RAW....I will work with the white balance. I thought that my camera switched the white balance when in auto-everything mode (what i used for these shots, as I was just snapping quickly) but maybe I should mind the light I am shooting in, and set it accordingly (this seems to be a constant with my work). Thanks for the input...

    You shot down on this, try getting lower and shoot across more that will provide some DoF and jazz up the shot (only my opinion). Here you have an opportunity to set up the shot a bit so be aware of your background, I would have brought in the clippings closer to the bowl of beens. I really like your creativity though, nice work. S
