    Some backyard wildlife...

    1&2 - Male House Sparrows
    3 - Northern Junco
    4 - Gray Squirrel
    5 - Blue Jay
    6 - Female House Finch
    7 - Goldfinch - Believe male, winter colors
    8 - Another gray squirrel

    i like the blue jay and the first squirrel. The blujaay is in the right position and his color really stands out against the snow. (is that some winged burnign bush he is setting on?)

    Very nice shots, that second one of the sparrow is perfect. The angle on that blue jay shot is great and shows all the markings nicely.

    Yes it is a winged burning bush. Wondering why you would ask, I Googled it to see that it is considered an 'invader' in some areas. They are used extensively here in northern Illinois and I have never seen a wild one. They were there when we bought the house (~25 years) and have not 'escaped'.

    Great stuff! That blue jay is one pretty bird Nos 3, 6, 7 are my favourites but of course Im always delighted to see squirrels
