    In-door no flash

Tried taking some shots in-door at an aquarium without flash, only working with the lights from the tank to set the mood. Caught my son resting in front of this large tank where I tried to capture the rays of light.

Generally I like it, a slight crop from the left might move the figure a little more out of the center of the frame to a more dynamic spot but it is a pretty good pose and capture.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I like it a lot, I agree with the crop on the left. Nice capture!

Thanks MB1, thanks Lori, hope I didn't crop too much but I wasn't sure whether to get rid of that second fish (top left) all together or not?

Seems I'm having some upload issues? Here it is again, this time also with the 2nd fish.

    Re: In-door no flash

Lori, I think so too as I'm also trying to keep a bit of the curved contour in the glass windows, giving the shot another perspective. Unfortunately the 2 large panes of glass join right where my son is? Cheers, Peter

I like this picture a lot. I think the contrast is great, because it is not your avaerage black and white contrast. I do agree that it could be cropped but all in all great vote.

    Re: In-door no flash

I can't make up my mind which version works best but the one thing that bothers me the most is the fish on the far right is to close to the edge of the frame. I would try cloning it or cropping it. Great mood to the shot though, certainly a good one.

    Re: In-door no flash

Now that you mention it Greg good point for the fish on the right, trouble is I only use Capture NX for my shots and I don't know how to clone or whether it can even be done with NX. I'll try cropping and see what the brings, though we might have a center issue again?
