    Field Sparrow

    Tought i would include some environment with this little guy, think the BG turned out pretty good on this one.

    Great colors, catchlight & overall lighting. I also agree that the background turned out very well, nice shot!:thumbsup:

    However, the bird is a tad small, and maybe too far to the left...?

    I've never seen a Field one - but have seen many other sparrow species. Thanks for sharing.

    Very nice environmental shot. There are times I prefer these over close up portraits.

    Thanks guys , i did a little editing ,Sharpenned the Sparrow a bit & a little clonning out of bottom branches.

    I prefer the first one. I like the softer look - like nature put the early morning spotlight on the little fellow. Second is harsh and draws my eye to two distinct levels; bird and blurred bush. Don't know which one to look at. - TF

    I like the first one more, too. It looks softer/more natural. And the branches at the bottom help "balance" the image, so it doesn't seem to be tipping over toward the left.

    The second seems a little over-sharpened and "tipping over".

    great environmental of a very cool sparrow. It looks more tree sparrow with that eye stripe, but I don't see the dot on the chest....... hmmmmmmm....... your ID must be correct them
