Falling Into Fall
I have shot this waterfall several times in the past. This is my newest attempt.

Re: Falling Into Fall
Awesome! I like this version the best - that swirling eddy makes it completely different from what most people would capture.
Nice catch!

Re: Falling Into Fall
Thanks everyone.
Dylan, yes, those are leaves swirling around in the water. I went back again last night and shot this from a different angle. I will try to post a new image later tonight if I have time.

Beautiful, I'll echo the others. That eddy certainly adds a difference.

Re: Falling Into Fall
That is one of the best waterfall images I have seen in a long time!

Re: Falling Into Fall
Thanks Scott & Paul. I went back again this weekend, and played around a little more. I even shot a few on Kodachrome.

Re: Falling Into Fall
Thanks Bob. If time allows, I'm sure I will return to this spot before too long.

Re: Falling Into Fall
Gotta love your sense of humor Paul.
I just got back from this waterfall. This time I shot it on film. Kodachrome 64 & Velvia 50.
Note to self: Next time you decide to take the film out of your camera, step AWAY from the water. That way when you drop the film, it doesn't go IN the water!!

Re: Falling Into Fall
A sense of humor I do have
I have never tried this, but water does stain film. Maybe a reverse osmosis water bath will help?
