    A Train Runs Through It

This is actually a new restaurant in our area and they are converting this train car into part of it.

Cool place. u should try to reshoot it on an overcast day so the light is much more diffused and not much harsh shadows like there are here.

I like the subject and your take on this.

I agree with Leels. The composition is fine and I don't even mind the bright spot of sun except that exposure for it caused a loss of detail in the shadowed building.
Overcast of golden hour or even hdr would work well here, I think.
Subject is well worth a re-shoot.

Re: A Train Runs Through It

Thanks for the comments. I will try to get back out at a better time and retake the shot. Also, it seems when I downsize the photo for the forum I lose detail and it seems a lot of lines in the train and bricks on the building show up. Any suggestions or do I just have to live with it when downsizing?

    Did you sharpen before posting?

Yes Frog, I did sharpen the image. Is that what caused the lines or patterns?

It does look slightly over sharpened. I agree with the others. Going back when the lighting is better would help. The lines could be caused from the high contrast B&W conversion. Try and layer it and reduce the contrast on the building.
