Belted Kingfisher - Female

For a very long time now, I have been trying to get close to a Belted Kingfisher. Today, I think that I did a little better.......

Congrats! Beautiful shots of a beautiful bird. I'm envious.

I think (based on my current state of mind - tired and a little loopy) that #2 is the sharpest of the bunch.

Beautiful series! I agree 2 is the sharpest, and the pose in number 6 is great.
