    The strangest places

Went to the local Renaissance Festival this past weekend and found this beautiful tree in the late afternoon sun along the main walkway.

Imagine an artist playing a hammered dulcimer with his back to me, and me with my back to him about three feet away photographing this leaf. I bet the juxtaposition was interesting - I hope someone photographed us - I was thinking about how to execute it myself.

Shot with the Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS.

Gorgeous shot Loupey. Why is it that the simplest subject can sometimes be the most beautiful?
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks, everyone, for all your feedback & comments.

It is interesting that sometimes the very common, like the very rare, can receive a lot of interest.

SmartWombat - I'm not familiar with Mr. Couza. Was he by chance a cast member of Monte Python Just kidding - I looked him up
