I Haven't shot many animals. What are your thoughts on these?

Cute kittens.
I think the photos would be better if their bodies and limbs were completely inside the frame or if you just zoomed in to their faces in a sort of portrait style.
This might be acheivable through cropping on the first two.

Quite nice, you're in between a few different styles of photo though.
- Full face portrait
- Whole kitten portrait
- Cute pose with background
- Bundle of kittens

Whatever you do, get sharp focus on their eyes.
Not ears, noses, paws, bodies, or the background.

The second one, if you had all the kitten, is the kind of pose you might find on a greeting card.

Here are a couple of the photos after being cropped. Tried to go after head portraits as was mentioned. Might be a little too late for these though. I'll have to keep your input in mind for the next attempt which I'm sure, now, will turn out better.
